Adventures in Art Framing
I got inspired by this beautiful barnwood frame.
I need to learn how to make these, but for now, I tried to make a rustic one myself. Not so great at this woodworking thing, so I might just have to stick to painting!
Measured & cut out the pieces with a jig saw. Sanded the pieces.
Stained the pieces and then screwed them together.
The stain seemed a bit too on the orangey side, so I did a thin white wash on top of it.
The painting sits just inside the frame.
